About Me

My name is Stephanie Coppola and I am originally from Billerica, Massachusetts located about 30 minutes outside of Boston!  I am currently the Performance Nutrition Assistant for the Philadelphia Eagles. I completed my undergraduate degree in Nutrition with a minor in Psychology in Raleigh, North Carolina at the North Carolina State University in May of 2015. I graduated in May of 2017 with my Master of Science in Nutrition from Meredith College and finished my Dietetic Internship in April 2018 with Wellness Workdays Dietetic Internship. I completed an internship through the Gatorade Sports Nutrition Immersion Program with the Philadelphia Eagles in March of 2019 and got hired on full time directly after.

Sports have always been a very influential part of my life, whether it was from handing out soda with my family at our concession stand at Fenway Park or playing a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, lacrosse or even managing teams. Throughout my life, I cannot remember a time when sports was not a driving factor in shaping who I am, my life, and my personal development. Sports continued to influence me throughout my undergraduate and graduate schooling, dietetic internship and SNIP fellowship where I combined my love of sports with my passion for nutrition by interning with Sports Nutrition at NC State, the University of Maryland and the Philadelphia Eagles.  At these universities and organization, I worked with a variety of teams from men's soccer to football to women's basketball and learned what foods would properly fuel athletes to achieve optimal performance. It also allowed me to develop the skills and assets needed to become a successful dietitian. I am now continuing my passion of helping athletes understand the importance of how to properly fuel their bodies through my career in Sports Nutrition at the professional level.
